Digital Photography for Point-and-Shoot Camera Users
July 12 (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.)

This workshop is designed for hobbyists, family photographers, and anyone who would like to learn the basics of digital photography. Topics for discussion include:

- Brief background on photography
- Understanding how a compact or point-and-shoot camera works
- How to use white balance and other features to maximize the camera
- Proper handling and storage of a camera
- How to compose photographs for visual impact
- Knowing the different design elements
- How to keep photographs for posterity sake

To further develop the participants’ knowledge, this workshop will entail actual photo shoot and critiquing.

Speaker
Dennis Balangue has been a semi-professional photographer for the past five years. He has photographed numerous celebrities and some of Europe’s well-celebrated scenes. He is also servicing some of Studio 23’s photography needs. He has mounted an exhibit with fellow-photographer Joel Bondoc at The Alcove photo gallery.

Workshop fee
Php 2,500.00 inclusive of handouts, meals, and certificate.

Due to the limited number of slots, interested participants are requested to register on or before July 5 by placing a partial payment of at least Php500.00 (non-refundable). A 10% discount will be extended to those who will settle the payment in full on or before the deadline.
