Now solidly Anglican thanks to the Missionaries of the 60s, it is no wonder that the Igorots here are keen to communicate better in English to any visitor rather than in Filipino. Although fairly developed with its numerous Inns and internet cafés and growing population of foreigners, the town retains its peaceful culture which incidentally, over the years, has embraced and integrated tourism into the everyday life.
