Jewelry Photography is one of the most complex fields in photography, and with good reason. Because of the highly reflective surfaces and intricate details of the subject, capturing jewelry on camera is challenging but ultimately very fulfilling. It is one of the newest frontiers in photography, with a very niche market. This workshop is an intensive course in the essentials of Jewelry Photography, with specific emphasis on bringing out the particular textures and details unique to jewelry, and will include related subjects such as Jewelry Styling and the Business side of Jewelry Photography.

Who should attend
This two-day workshop is for photographers who either want to specialize in jewerly photography, or simply want to broaden their repertoire.
Prerequisites
Participants should have completed our Basic Photography workshop, or have equivalent experience.
Presentation method
Class time is divided between instructor-led presentations, hands-on practice, and instructor-led critiques of the photos taken in class. Classes are limited to 12 participants or less to ensure optimum learning.
What to bring
Participants should bring a 35mm (digital or film) SLR camera, plus a tripod.
