Potipot Island, Candelaria, Zambales



This mountainous province of Zambales, which is located in Central Luzon, is most popular for the Subic Bay Freeport in Olongapo City. Besides being a tourist spot for the infamous Mount Pinatubo, Zambales is known for its beautiful white-sand beaches like Capones and Snake Islands, which are ideal for diving and other water activities; Dasol Bay, with its unexplored beaches; and Potipot Island in Candelaria, a circular area ringed by white sand.

Snow White Beach, Pandan, Antique



Along the coast of Panay Island is the province of Antique, a sea-horse shaped land that is ideal for shell hunting, snorkeling, scuba diving, and white water kayaking. A number of notable areas are Nogas Island, a huge naval reservation area with a white-sand beach and excellent diving spots; Hurao-Hurao Island, an ideal place for picnicking; Batabat Coral Reef, a 1.5-hectare coral of different colors; Mararison Island, a long stretch of white-sand beach which is ironically not suitable for swimming; Batbatan Island, with white-sand beaches and waters ideal for scuba diving; Snow White Beach in Pandan, with white sand and crystal clear water; and Duyong Beach, an ideal spot for swimming.

Pahanocoy Beach, Bacolod



The capital city of Negros Occidental, Bacolod is the biggest city in the Western Visayas region and the Sugar Capital of the Philippines. However, Bacolod is best known for being The City of Smiles and their grandest annual event, the Masskara Festival. The city is also a popular destination for Pahanocoy Beach, Villarosa Beach, and Punta Taytay Beach.

Baybay Beach, Capiz



The province of Capiz, famous for being the birthplace of one of the country’s presidents, has several attractions that are noteworthy, including interesting old structures, offshore coral islands, and white-sand beaches. Capiz is also one of the jump-off points to Boracay, the most popular tourist destination in the country. The province’s most visited spots are Baybay Beach, with a 7-kilometer stretch of black sand; Bontod Beach, a 3-kilometer stretch of black sand and is the cleanest beach in Capiz; and Napti Island, an uninhabited area with white coral sand beaches and waters that are ideal for swimming.

Isla Naburot, Guimaras



Guimaras, a small island province, has always been best known for its world-famous golden mangoes. However, it has also become a popular tourist destination for its white-sand beaches, small coral islands, and offshore islets. The most famous of which are Isla Naburot, which is a small, private island resort, and the beaches of Alubihod, Tatlong Pulo, Baras, and Inampulugan.

Baybay Beach, Roxas City



Located in Panay Island and the capital city of Capiz, Roxas has become its trading center due to the number of coves that were transformed into port areas. It has also been a jump-off point to Boracay, and where one can find the best capiz shells in the country. One of the most popular destinations is Baybay Beach, which is a 7-kilomter stretch of fine gray sand with waters that are ideal for body surfing, a popular hangout among locals.

Salag Do-ong Beach, Siquijor



Siquijor, an island province in Central Visayas, is one of the major islands in the area yet one of the smallest in the country. It has been mainly famous for its waters, reefs that are abundant in marine life and untouched white-sand beaches. Because of the quiet and peaceful living in the area and near-zero crime rate, Siquijor has been a popular tourist spot, what with Salag Do-ong Beach, Kagusuan Beach, and Paliton Beach.

White Island, Camiguin



The pear-shaped island of Camiguin, off the northern coast of Mindanao, is one of the most beautiful islands in the country. Mostly known for its sweet lanzones and its land and water formations, Camiguin is also known for famous summer spots such as White Island, an uninhabited small white sandbar; Mantigue Island, a 4-hectare forest with white-sand beach; and Cabu-an Beach, which has nice corals near the shore.

The city of Davao, which is the primary agricultural and trading center of the region, has always been known for its export-quality crafts, the durian, the Davao International Airport, Mount Apo, which his the country’s highest peak, the Philippine eagle, and the rare waling-waling. Saranggani Bay



The coastal province of Saranggani is most famous for its white-sand beaches that are perfect for swimming and diving, its exotic and untouched forests, together with the waterfalls and caves. Tarsiers, which are considered endangered animals, have also been discovered in the area. The coast of Saranggani is every diver’s dream, with its unspoiled waters that are abundant in marine life, like dolphins, whales, marine turtles, sea cows, and corals.
