Shot these during my early photography years when I was shooting almost exclusively in B&W. I was doing some photojournalism then, and desperately wanted to use Tri-X or any of those ISO 400 films but couldn't afford them. So most of these shots were taken with the cheapo Necopan 100 film pushed to EI 400. That explains the grain and too much contrast. Sad to say, I don't have the negatives anymore as the termites already feasted on them. What I have left are 8x10 prints I made when I had a makeshift, unventilated darkroom right inside my bedroom.
